NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CHANGE IN FEES AND CHARGES SOMERS COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Somers County Water
and Sewer District will hold a Public Hearing on a proposal to change the fees and
charges for users of the sewer and water system. Such hearing shall be held on
Wednesday, December 14th at 6:00 PM at the Somers Fire Hall at 784 Somers Rd.
This venue is a handicap accessible facility.

It is the intent of the Board of Directors to consider and where appropriate, to amend the
Schedule of Fees and Charges for users of the system.

THE PROPOSED CHANGES AT THIS TIME APPLY TO PLANT INVESTMENT FEES PAID AT THE TIME OF A NEW CONNECTION (HOOKUP FEES). THIS CHANGE DOES NOT AFFECT CURRENT RATE PAYERS.

The proposed changes to the fee and charges schedule are available on the District’s
website at https://somerswatersewer.com/ or by calling Andy Loudermilk at 406-857-
2580 during regular business hours.

Any person wishing to address the proposed fee and charge changes may appear at
this hearing and make oral statements or present the same in writing, prior to the
hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the District at P.O.Box 117, Somers
MT 59932 or by email to andyL.sws@outlook.com. Any persons desiring
accommodation for attendance at such hearing or having questions concerning the
matter before the District, please call the above number.
